Hospital recommendation?

Hi everyone, I’ve recently had a positive pregnancy test so now in the stage of working out what hospital to self refer to. Does anyone have and recommendations? I think my closest ones are the Whittington, Barnet or the Royal Free (planning to avoid North Mid which is actually my closest)

Congratulations! We’re 15 weeks along and with Barnet. They’ve been very good so far and appointments have been on time. However parking is an absolute nightmare - after our first visit when my partner nearly missed the scan because he couldn’t find a space, we have parked outside the hospital and walked, which has been totally fine. Can’t comment on birth service yet, but hopefully someone else can 🤞

Congrats🎉 We are also with Barnet, on 24 weeks. They have been great so far, their checks have been very thorough. I agree on the parking, it's a nightmare, but you can plan to get to the appointment 20 mins before to make sure you are in time. I also heard great things about Whittington...

Thank you both ☺️❤️

I gave birth at North mid, both pregnancies emergency c section and everyone was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend north mid

Congratulations 💕I gave birth at Barnet in June. Overall the experience was good. The staff were lovely in general, though it wasn’t a perfect experience in terms of my actual birth, however compared to what I hear about other hospitals I’d say it was pretty good. Had most of my prenatal stuff at my GP or Chase which was great actually and again every one was nice. Echo what was said about parking at Barnet, bit of a pain and for appointments in the day it’s impossible. Chase was fine though if you have any there and fortunately I was admitted at 4am when I was in labour at Barnet so the car park was virtually empty. For weekday appointments you could walk from town or use an app like just park and park on someone’s drive way.

I gave birth to my son at Whittington. Prenatal care and birthing experience was really good, would recommend!

Congratulations girll🤍, I gave birth to my daughter at Barnett Hospital. My Antenatal and postnatal care experience was very comforting, as the staff ensured that I was included in each step taken and made sure not to dismiss me if I had concerns which was so lovely and stress free. I 100% recommend Barnet Hospital.

BARNET BARNET BARNET ! DONT GO TO NORTH MID WITHOUT READING THEIR MATERNITY WARD SAFTEY GRADING ONLINE... IT WAS AWFUL WHEN I CHECKED 2 MONTHS AGO. Deffo worth traveling to barnet even the nurses at Barnet said so. I've used both also. Barnet are paired with CHASE FARM so your appointments will be split between enfield and barnet x

Hi I gave birth in Barnet and had a horrendous experience. I work for UCLH and it I can ever think about going through it again id go to UCLH. Side note: I put in a birth reflection request in June for Barnet to see why I wasn’t listened to (I nearly gave birth in the induction ward as they didn’t believe me when I said I was having contractions) and I was told that they have so many complaints it takes months to have an appointment. I’m still waiting 5 month on .
