So so frustrating! And feel like the only thing that would help would be to not move at all which is not possible with a newborn!
Honestly seems to be more common than we think! I had 4 different rounds of antibiotics and none worked it was just constant infection one after the other. At almost 6 weeks pp i got admitted to hospital to be hooked up to IV antibiotics to get rid of it because it was so bad and no one would listen to me! I’m nearly 7 weeks pp now and I’m on two different lots of antibiotics and i’ve only now started seeing a difference and my wound seems to be healing. If you’re ever worried just keep pushing and keep going back. They’re there to help you so don’t feel bad for continually going back until you’re happy! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I’m 17 weeks pp and I’ve had these holes. The gp said they’re “spitting sitches” the dissolvable stitches coming to the surface rather than dissolving. They heal over really fast x
That’s really interesting @Hannah as I’ve noticed another hole tonight! That’s good to know!
Ohh I’m so glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. My c section won’t heal and have had so many antibiotics then a few days ago realised I have these holes in my scar like tiny ones but deep , I’ve been told by docs to keep it clean and covered but got health visitor coming tomorrow
@Naomi I’ve had a part of one the dissolvable staple come out too ! That was a bit painful before it came out but healed over in a couple of days x
This explains a lot as when I was drying after a shower I noticed like a strand of something harder (not sure what I thought it was at the time) but wonder if it was a stitch? So far since it's not hurt but just going to keep an eye on it!
I could have written this myself! I had an opening last week quite big and have been on antibiotics since Friday for it but last night I noticed another hole (pin sized!) I literally don’t know what more to do with it! It’s rather frustrating as I’m 14 weeks pp now and it seems to look like it is healed and then ends up having another hole again!!🤦🏻♀️
