Those choosing a c section. Did you get your date at your consultant appointment or did you have to have more than one consultant appointment?

I had my 2nd consultant appt last week I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I got my date booked this will be my 2nd planned c-section. Maybe ask at your next appt

I got my date booked at 25 weeks at my first consultant appointment :) i got to pick what day too in my 39th week

@Natalie thanks for the reply. I’m 26 weeks tomorrow and have my consultant appointment on Thursday so hoping I get the date then as nothing else booked in. 🤞

I have had one consultation appointment but won’t get the date until 34 weeks

So jealous you’ve all got your dates. I keep asking when I can get one and am told they can’t offer them until 34 weeks. Must be different in other areas 😩

@Jess I’m a high risk pregnancy so been consultant led from the start. I see her on Monday so I’m going to ask again 🙏🏼 will be so nice to have a date

@Jess yeah Im consultant let as high risk so said from the start I would like an elected section as had a category 1 emergency section with my first. So annoying. Going to ask again Monday when I see my consultant 🙏🏼

@Charlotte goodluck 🤞🤞 I was with my last pregnancy but I could so c section or induction so that’s why mine was booked in so late. Will be lovely to know in advance 🥰

Just to say I had my appointment last week and they said I should get my appointment on my badger notes this week. Haven’t heard anything yet but for anyone else waiting xx
