I understand the disappointment. I also failed my vbac 3 months ago :( i reached 8-9 cm then babys heart rate started dropping and wouldnt go back up so i ended up having another cs. It was hard to get over it, i cried a lot, especially since i was preparing for 9 months for my vbac and i was in labor for 3 days. All this work to end up in surgery again so close to the end is so frustrating. Congrats on a healthy baby though.

@a mom honestly its been hard and ive also now had doctors come and tell me the advise against ever trying for vaginal again so i feel like im mourning a life i dreamt of but will never have 😔its hard rn as its fresh. Everyone involved was so pro vbac and knew how much i was so i think theyre all sympathising as ive had the surgeons/docs up to apologise and see how i am daily which feels nice. I know there was nothing i could have done different but its still such a kick to the face. Up until the very end they were so shocked with how quick i had progressed and how little intervention i needed and then it just changed and within like 10 mins from checking predicting i will be pushing in under 30 mins, i had to make the decision to have baby then and there or he will certainly have brain damage. I do think its unfair but for whatever reason it just wasnt in gods plan 😔i dont understand why yet but im grateful were both here safe. Im sorry such a similar thing happened to u and i hope u and baby are ok xx
How far along were you mama? I do just want to say that even tho you would have been at 10 in just a matter of minutes like you said doesn’t mean baby would have been out soon. I pushed for 4 hours. So you did the right thing. Remember you still have a shot next time and a better one at that! Congratulations on healthy baby even tho he was a little stinker and uncooperative! ♥️
@Tahirah why would they ever advise against having a vaginal delivery NEXT TIME just because he pooped!? You’ve now went through an entire labor and did wonderfully!! Your body knows what to do for next time. I had a vaginal delivery after TWO c sections and I was inducted and it was successful and uneventful. My baby was NINE pounds. You can do it. Don’t let go of your dream for no one.
