Is there any way to prevent baby being born with jaundice? My first two had it, and I want to know if there is a way to prevent it?

idk if this is the sole cause or cure of jaundice — my daughter had it but it was very mild so there wasn’t a need for medical intervention, ended up going away within a week or so after birth. they told me it was because she wasn’t eating enough (she had trouble latching) and we had to do formula feeds until she learned how to breastfeed. hope this helps x
Unfortunately no it just something babies r born with or not and will go away on its own or with medical help with Ulta light

This is actually a really good question, both my boys previously had it too. I did a quick Google search and it said there wasn't a huge way to prevent it except making sure they're being fed a ton to move the bilirubin out in their stool. I wonder if your obgyn would have a better answer than google!
