Look at the NHS pages on induction, it will tell you the different methods.

following🫶🏽 i’ve been booked for 39 weeks🩷

Different ways, I'm having the ballon induction tomorrow ☺️

I’m being induced tomorrow potentially using the balloon method but I think I’m too dilated for that now. I’ll be given the pessaries to bring me on and if that fails the hormone drip xx

Been told the most common is the hormone pessary that goes in for 24-30 hours to "ripen the cervix" then it's breaking the waters and the hormone drip - that's what I've been told I will be having zz

I was induced with my first, I had the pessary inserted. They usually leave it in for 24 hrs however I progressed quite quickly, my active labour was 30 minutes! Good luck x

They will talk you through all the options. I'm being induced, hopefully, on Monday and went through the options and what will happen on the day with the midwife last week. They sent me information before the appointment on my app and gave me a physical copy at the hospital.
