Are your partners getting the basic paternity pay or is there employers topping it up ? Just curious thankyou x

Luckily my partner is getting full pay for 2 weeks otherwise we couldn’t afford it.
He just gets his normal pay x
My partner gets 4 weeks full pay x
In my employment men get 1 week on full pay and 1 week unpaid (stat)
my partner gets full pay for the two weeks and he’s putting holiday at the end of it
If I had nothing my partner would get a year off full pay from his employer 😩 but he got 6 weeks full pay initially and will have 4 months full pay when I go back to work x
My partner gets full pay but only because he is a manager. Anyone below that level just gets the basic level. He didn't know this until hr told him though he thought we was just not going to be able to take paternity and have to just use holiday.
