Mucus plug ?
Will there always be blood in the mucus plug? i passed some jelly type mucus this morning but it wasn’t blood stained

Mucus plug is usually clear and jelly like and regenerates its self , your bloody show is the last of the mucus plug which really means something that won’t regenerate and usually labour follows :) x
Clear jelly regenerates... wen its bloody it don't and labour not too far away. I been having jelly for a couple of weeks now but not every time. Xxxx

It should just be jelly and thick I believe, can be clear or blood tinged. (That's from my online research, although my midwife told me I was wrong and it can only be bloodied, which goes against every website I've read 😅 )
