I got induced on a Friday afternoon around 3pm. Contractions started about 9pm Friday night. I ended up having an emergency c-section, but little man was born at 07.57 Saturday morning. We was discharged home about 4pm the Sunday afternoon xx

I was induced around 9AM in the morning with the gel and immediately started contracting 😳 I didn't realize it could work that quickly! I went home for a few hours and then when I came back to the hospital, they broke my waters to get things moving even more, and started pushing around 10PM and babe arrived 10 minutes later 😊

Mine took 8 days start to finish, and I was in hospital for the first 5 days, then home for 48 hours, then back in. Gave birth within 14 hours of going back in but had to stay one night in hospital to have babies blood levels checked. There’s no way of knowing how long it will take unfortunately, I wasn’t expecting mine to go on as long as it did!

My son was born almost exactly 24 hours after the pessary was inserted! Though we stayed for 3 days

With my first I went in Monday, they didn’t start my induction until 5am Tuesday, baby was born Wednesday morning and I was discharged Thursday evening. Second I went in Monday morning was started immediately, had an emergency section Monday 5pm (totally unrelated to induction, actually induction probably saved her life because it meant I was already at the hospital) was discharged in the Wednesday afternoon

Mine took 27 hours from the time the tape was inserted.

I was induced at 2.30 pm and baby arrived at 10.15pm 🙂

Mine took a little over 3 days

I was induced at 10am, baby was born at 1pm on the dot so only 3 hours. But it's honestly almost impossible to tell, everybody reacts differently to various induction methods and there's an element of total luck to it too. Try to stay relaxed and positive, it sounds dumb but that actually goes a long way in helping labor move along quickly and smoothly. Stress and adrenaline slow it down. And try to keep moving as much as you're able to once you're in active labor, that's usually a big help too. Walking, rocking/bouncing on a birthing ball, whatever kind of movement is most comfortable for you. Good luck and congratulations!

My first took 4 days from start to finish, my second took 3 hours 🤣

@Lacy I second this. Try to keep moving around or bouncing:rocking on the ball, even in between contractions. I had my waters broken to induce labour and had baby 5hrs later. Discharged next day.

It was so fast guys got induced with the gel around 2pm contractions started about 5-6pm had him at 3.33 am couldn’t believe it to be honest

Congratulations mama! ❤️
