Thank you, I hadn’t heard of it until now, so good to hear you’ve heard of it as well. I will definitely ask x
I think the earliest they will do an induction for reasons other than medical is 39 weeks! Deffo speak to your midwife but I had a meeting with consultant Wednesday who told me this :) obviously if there is a worry with growth or previous experience they might be willing to do it earlier x
I had that with my son, I was stressed and it was slowing his growth down so he was induced at 38 weeks
Ours is planned for 38 weeks, and is due to previous trauma and stress. I was advised to wait past 37 weeks as currently no physical medical need for baby.
I'm being induced because we had assisted fertility to get pregnant and there are increased risks of stillbirth. My consultant at obstetrics said she would induce everyone if she could. My experience is that they're very open to doing it for you if you just ask.
No experience but they might possibly do it as long as you're 37+ weeks and what the circumstances are, as they don't really like to induce unless necessary but definitely worth an ask lovely I've heard the same before x
