Induced due to stress / for compassionate reasons ?

Hi yes I was. Childhood trauma and stress was really effecting me. My first was 36 weeks and 5 days. My second was 37 weeks and 4 days. My first is now a healthy 7 year old little girl. And my second she’s 13 months old today :)

Ah thank you for sharing. I had never heard of this. Do you mention to your midwife that this is what you want, how does that work? If you don’t mind me asking. I’m 34 weeks and thinking of mentioning it to my midwife next week but not sure

Hi sorry I only just saw this. I spoke to my community midwife first. My community wife then phoned the birthing center and spoke to the consultant. The consultant wanted to talk to me first though. I was 33 weeks and it was there and then that they agreed to induce me at 37 weeks. The only reason I was 4 days over was because I got scared and asked them to push it back if they could and they agreed. If it’s causing you a lot of stress it’s worth asking x
