Nursery furniture!

I've bought the cot and already had changing tables from my first. We didn't have any other furniture in the baby's room so have bought the brimnes wardrobe and chest of drawers from IKEA. We decided not to go for the baby size furniture as wanted it to last.

Our nursery is already set up ready for baby girl. It's been all set up since 20weeks. I'm currently 25weeks. I wasn't sure how id be during pregnancy as I have a few medical conditions that don't make things easy for me anyway. So me and my husband agreed we would get it all done early just incase. It also has meant I can relax and enjoy it all without worrying it's not going to get done or anything x

Waiting for black friday offers in nov. A lot of places already have discounts online though

If you're going to follow the rules and have your baby bedside with you for the first 6 months, there isn't a pressing need to furnish right now. However, it's useful to have a changing table and dedicated space. Wait for a deal or January sales is my advice!

I just kept checking Facebook marketplace for second hand. Managed to find a full nursery set very cheaply so we just bought it and then got a new mattress and changing pad.

@Bethan I will be yes😊 I want to make sure everything is organised perfectly before little one gets here and am eager to get it done, I just felt it was a little early more than anything 😊 I don’t think I’ll be waiting until January sales as I’d be 35 weeks and that gives me anxiety at the thought of it haha!
