It’s not always a gush or pop! It can be a slow trickle for several hours. I was in the same situation! When I called to ask what to look for, I was immediately told to go to the hospital to be seen. They tested the fluid and did a quick ultrasound to check my fluid levels. Be prepared to go in! I was told it’s protocol to be checked out anytime you mention leaking of fluid. (Of course consistency/color of the fluid matters)
With my first, my water breaking was a tiny trickle.. laid down for 10 mins, sat back up, and a little more came out.. when I got to the hospital they said my water totally broke
Not necessarily, call your doctor and let them know they may need you to come in and check.
