In your group of friends/people you know, what type of birth have most people had?

Just interested to see because out of everyone I know that’s had a baby (would say around 30 of us) just myself and two other friends had vaginal births, everyone else had c sections. After my birth I found it really hard because none of my friends had the same type of recovery as me so I felt so alone about what I was going through and didn’t have anyone to ask for tips and tricks to try and make recovery from episiotomy and tearing easier.

Most had vaginal but i’ve had a couple friends who had c sections. I’ve had both

I’m the opposite. I’m the only one in my family and in my friendship circle who had a Caesarian. Similarly I couldn’t relate and got a few nasty comments about my recovery compared to theirs.

Most of my friends had vaginal, I only know my mum & sister who had c sections. Like Sarah I also got comments! The usual ‘easy way out’ hahahaha 🙄

So interesting isn’t it! Makes it hard when everyone you know has only had one type of birth and then you have the other so feel like the total odd one out.

Last year me and 6 of my family and friends had babies within a few months & I was the only one to give birth vaginally! 5 of them had emergency c-sections and 1 planned x

Quite an even split I think

i had a natural/unmedicated birth for all my babies. a few friends had all c sections (planned) and some had epidural and vaginal births
