Normal to be so nervous* I should have said 😅

Did they “diagnose” the reduced moments with a stress test? Or did you notice the movements

I had two inductions- first at 36+5 for cholestasis and the second at 39 for gestational hypertension and macrosomia. Neither was technically elective but it’s totally normal to be overthinking things. I was very nervous my first time. I felt like an old pro my second 😂

I had an elective induction at 39+2 due to reduced movements, high blood pressure (no preeclampsia), and some other factors. I was told I could be induced or just keep an eye on things and I chose the induction. It was amazing honestly. It's totally normal to be nervous but my experience was fantastic. It was all really relaxed from the beginning, they took their time to go over the whole plan and any questions we had and make sure I was comfortable with everything before they did anything. I talked to my doctor ahead of time about wanting to minimize or avoid pitocin and they were happy to work around that, so if you have any particular preferences on induction methods don't be afraid to bring that up. My baby was born only 3 hours after the induction started and my recovery was way easier than my non-induced birth. I'd absolutely do it again
