I need suggestions!

I just had a friend deliver her baby via C-section. I want to get her a care package for when I see her next but I’m not really sure what to get her. I had a vaginal delivery 2 years ago so I’m not sure what products would be helpful for her recovery. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Frida do c section patches , maybe that would be good ! I’d put the usual things that would help pp like pads , some self care items etc xxx

Mesh undies, huge pads, even though she had a Caesarian she’s still going to be bleeding heavy, if she’s breast feeding nipple cream, I’m pretty sure they have stuff by Frida for her to put on her scar as well, maybe some lotion and some candles🫶🏻

Frida mom c section disposable kncikers are a life saver I’ve just had a section and will be wearing the knickers for the next couple of weeks at least they are so comfortable. Get the knickers and not the post partum underwear (which are more like shorts) then she can wear them under clothes when she’s ready to leave the house too!

All the above but maybe a few of her fav snacks and sweets too 🍭☺️

Trapped wind medication! Haha

Any seamless crop top bralets too that are super stretchy. I bought 5 cheap ones and have them on rotation at the moment! Maybe a voucher for her favourite food takeaway or coffee shop? Finding the time or energy to cook postpartum is hard!

Thank you everyone! I remember how hard postpartum was so I just want to make it a little easier for her

Maybe some green juices, nuts, things high in cals and energy! I lost quite a bit of blood so ended up being anemic. My husband was bringing me all sorts to help get my energy up after baby.

Peppermint tea for trapped wind!

I lived in disposable underwear for a week or so after because you still have the bleeding. Make sure it is high waisted so it can be pulled right up. My normal underwear had the elastic right along my scar so it was uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise probably just the usual stuff, plenty of snacks, and offering to help with anything while you are there. I was glued to the couch as well for a while because it was painful to get up and move about.
