Lowercase. With the correct phonetic sound.
Thanks girls 🩷 can you point me in the right direction for correct phonic sounds? I’m not a pushy parent btw! She just loves learning and knows some letters already as she LOVES books 🥰 I’m a fossil and only know ABC’s like we were taught in school so would be good to know where I can look up the correct phonic sounds 😅 x
I taught my girl both ☺️ so letters and the phonics. she picked up quick that A says ‘ahh’ etc
See if you can find out which program your local area/school uses to teach phonics as there are a few different ones then look online and see if you can find resources for it or even YouTube videos :) my area uses Read Write Inc so that’s what I’ve started using with my 4 year old to keep it consistent for when she starts school :)
Lowercase. generally speaking you teach the lowercase letters as sounds for phonics before you introduce uppercase and the letter names :)
