Tubal Ligation
Hi moms! Has anyone had a tubal ligation procedure done? If so, can you tell me if you did it right after birthing your baby or did you plan it weeks after? I’m due to have my 2nd baby in 2 weeks, and I plan on having my tubes cut. Did you experience any pain?

@Laurel I plan on doing vaginal too, my doctor has me sign a form. I’m gonna mention to them I plan on delivering vaginally in case they are assuming otherwise.
@Emily with a vaginal I think technically they can do it a day or 2 after you give birth! They are doing mine when they are removing my uterus
I had mine done 4 months after baby #2. I could have gotten it earlier, but I wanted my mom to be able to come over and help during her vacation during the summer, since she works for the school district.
I did but it didn’t feel any different since I had a c section.

I’m having mine done after my second baby and they said since I’m planning on another vaginal delivery we will schedule it after 6 weeks
