Colicky baby

Anyone else struggling? Our daughter cries 95% of the time she is awake. Last night she slept in her crib for 20 mins all night, screamed at us for 3 hours straight from 1.15-4.15. Im so sad she’s in pain but this is utterly miserable. Our first was the same and I feel so resentful that I landed two such unhappy babies. I know it gets better because my first eventually grew out of it and is such a happy little girl. But the thought of this being for several more months just fills me with absolute dread.

I’m with you xxx

My little girl can be inconsolable and what helps us is the carrier ❤️

I know people think this is a load of rubbish, but I took my newborn to my chiropractor (cos of a long Labour, back to back position and struggled with gas / wind) she did some gentle adjustments and he’s so much more comfortable. He doesn’t really cry

How are you feeding? Xxx

@Rachael Breastfed but had to introduce formula because she wasn’t putting on weight. I have gone dairy and soy free as of Monday this week and topping up with a dairy free formula (prescribed by GP). The last two days, it’s like I have a different baby. She isn’t screaming at me 95% of the time. Infact, she’s actually content unless hungry, having her nappy changed or in the car! Could it be worth a go for you as I know you’ve got a colicky one too?
