I had no blood in my mucus plug but I was actively I'm labor when I lost mine

I don’t think mine even fell out. My water broke radomly and then BOOM.. been a mom for 2.5 years

@Kylie @Lizzie mine has fallen out, and it’s clear and I’ve been told it needs to have blood in it to say labour is near I’m 39 weeks. This is my second pregnancy and never saw mucus plug with my first

They will probably send you back home if you are not dilated and your water hasn’t broke. I would wait and maybe do some exercises to get baby moving. Although I cannot attest much ti this either. My son popped out at 37 and 5 after I ate a spicy pizza and did maybe 20 mins on an exercise ball

@Lizzie oh I’m not going into hospital till I’m in active labour 😅 yeah it’s crazy how different labours can be. With my first my waters just broke and then went into labour!

I've know of some people who lost their mucus plugs weeks before they went into labor so I would just continue watching for signs

First one I never saw anything of it, in labour or before Second child kept losing it for weeks and then when in labour it was streaked with blood

Mine fell out around 8pm, it wasn't bloody. My contractions started around 6am the next morning and my baby arrived at 9am x

Tbh I don't remember seeing mine with my first. Inwokw up with dull period like cramps that seemed to progress and felt like a bad belly ache . Then had my bowels moving and the contractions got stronger and my waters eventually broke. I don't think you even have to lose it for labor to be near lol

Just lost mine on Saturday at 38+5 with a bit of brown blood and I’m not in active labor yet although I’ve been getting mild sporadic contractions. I get induced in 2 days.

Since this morning, my mucus plug has blood and I had some contractions but I’m only 2cm. They sent me home. They told me unless my water break or heavy bleeding I should go back again.
