Oh no! I’m so stressed about what’s best
Most likely yes. How long have you given it for them to settle? It can take some babies weeks!
3 weeks I think it is
It’s hard- are they unsettled the whole time they’re there? How many days/hours do they do? What do nursery say about it?
She goes in crying and out crying but say she has stopped crying in between the 45 mins
So has she done 3 weeks of only going for 45mins? Sorry if I’m misunderstanding 😅 it’s totally normal for them to cry on separation from you and when reunited with you! But it’s great if she’s not upset the whole time she’s there.
Are they calling you while she is there to say she is extremely unsettled? My Lb cries when we drop him off too but i can see he is fine by the time i get to the car, its a hard one to navigate, but it does take time for them to get used to it❤️
Luckily i arranged his start date for 3 weeks prior to me going back to work. The settles were before then and max 2hrs so was hard to tell how he would get on. I used the 3 weeks to ease him in and do longer each day. The last week he did 7.30-5 ready for my return and has done amazingly. He screams as i drop off but by the time i get to the bottom of the stairs he's stopped and he cries at pick up when he sees me. He only just managed sleep in the last week and only 40 mins but slow progress.
At my nursery I asked this and they said yes it's still 4 weeks notice unfortunately, it counts from the time they start and settling in counts I believe.
