@Louise When you say the gel was that the membrane sweep?? Congratulations as well🫶🏻x
It was the prostaglandin gel to soften the cervix. I had 2 membrane sweeps one on the Tuesday and the Friday. Thank you!
I had a sweep on the Monday, on the Thursday early morning woke up with really bad cramps and back pain and couldn’t sit down but my waters wouldn’t go. Got the hormonal drip after 2 and had my waters broke and baby was here by 5, the contractions were intense but I managed off gas& air! You can do it, good luck& enjoy every baby😍 I’m due 3 weeks time soo exciting Xxx
@Chloe Ah that’s a relief to know u didn’t need anything more than gas and air!! I really want to avoid an epidural or anything like that and the constant explained the contractions/labour may be more intense than a natural one! Thank you and good luck on ur labour/birth☺️🫶🏻
I’m the same something about the epidural puts me off😂you’ll be amazing! Thank you, I’m abit nervous but soo excited🤍
I was induced with my 2nd baby at 39 weeks, my waters started leaking. I went to bed that night and contractions stopped and labour came to a halt and wouldn’t start on his own again so decided to go ahead with induction. I had the pessary inserted and contractions started instantly. Was in first stage of labour for about 10 hours then transition stage lasted about 9 minutes and my baby boy was born in 3 pushes. No tears, no complications. Gas and air and just let my body do its thing and it was such a wonderful induced birth
@Chloe I’ve heard too many women say they’ve had back issues since having it😅 thank u girl! you’ll be amazing too!💕
@Natalie Oh wow how amazing! Thank u for sharing ur experience, it’s making me feel soo much more at ease x
I was petrified of being induced and was booked for Sunday 8pm. Had the gel at 11pm and baby was here at 3:49 Monday morning! Was super intense and quick but such a positive experience!
