I don’t have any advice on those clinics. But my first nhs round failed, only 2 embryos and none frozen. For my next transfer I decided to move clinics and got far better results. (I now have my daughter with 3 frozen embryos) I guess go with your gut. I had a consultation with 2 clinics, we had to pay for these, but we were going to spends nearly £15k so I wanted be sure I was happy with the clinic. My new clinic also changed my protocol and tweaked a few things based on my previous cycle.
@Hollie they said nothing went wrong in the first cycle and the doses have been maximum. After all I guess as it's NHS they don't do anything extra?
@Danielle so glad the second time worked out for you! Was your second with NHS hospital or private? You mentioned fee so it looks like was private?
Private, I only got one nhs funded cycle.
Mine was NHS funded but at a private clinic. They do have options of different protocols even when NHS funded. There’s the downreg long cycle which is quite often used with low AMH. I would go for the one that would be done at CRGH.
Yes with uclh you will do your egg collection and transfer at crgh
We had 3 rounds funded by Guys Hospital on NHS but left to go private after the first didn’t work as they were very inflexible to changing anything in the protocol and that didn’t sit right with me. Go with your gut x
I would look to change if they won’t change your protocol for a better response with your next round
