Second baby

I’ve just had a positive pregnancy test 5.5 months PP. my partner has is vasectomy booked already for 10 December so this was very much not planned and truthfully not wanted. I was very much one and done after quite a difficult baby and zero support network within 2 hours and a partner that works away regularly. However, my head is saying absolutely not but something in my heart is saying everything is a phase and it’s meant to be. What I’m looking for is has anyone got any experience of having 2x babies with a 12-14 month age gap and how has it worked out? (I have no idea of weeks as I’m EBF but my last period was August which was on and off for 3 weeks after she started sleeping through so assumed I was late now because my hormones because she no longer does 🤦🏼‍♀️)

I asked in one of my mum groups about 2 under 2 and it was overwhelmingly negative/women living a life I don’t want. I asked in that group because I was keen for 2 under 2. Lmk if you want the link to the FB group - they’re a great bunch of women xx and I wouldn’t know it was you who joined

Short term pain of the stresses of 2 under 2, but long term gain as they grow together, have a sibling and you all have a family unit

2 in 18 months here and I would say the first three months were a blur and hard going but my god now it’s amazing! The bond they have it second to none. And it’s an absolute joy watching them interact! We have very very limited support so it’s a lot of organisation etc but it’s very doeable and now very enjoyable! Good luck mama!

I had 3 in quick succession and left a 4 year gap and wish I didn't wait that long. I can't even put specifics on why where and how but it all gets done! X

Blessing in disguise. The tough road is temporary but the sibling and best friend will be forever. You will get through it xx
