Nursery Fees 🤯

I’m due back at work in December, I have 2 children, a 3 year old and a soon to be 1 year old and when I go back to work, after childcare costs we’re only going to have an extra £90 a month, that’s with all the government funding etc. 🤯

Ridiculous isn’t it (I will also have a 3yo and a 1yo in nursery 🥲)

@Chloe I honestly wouldn’t go back if it was just for the sake of my 1 year old but my 3 year old is at an age where he really needs to go to nursery, he gets so bored at home!

If it helps there is more to going back to work than the money. I like to think by going back to work I am -making a positive contribution to society -learning new skills -saving lives (obviously job dependent) -having adult conversations that’s got nothing to do with your kids -minimising my social isolation -socialising our weans easier - I also really want to be a positive feminist role model for my son. I don’t want him growing up thinking mummys do x and daddies do y. …. Unfortunately none of these benefits pay the bills though 🤦‍♀️
