@Kristen it’s just that constant questioning of ooh is this is all the time. It’s my second baby too, I was induced with my first for health reasons and so all of this early stuff is new to me but I really didn’t expect a week of this with no progress 🫠 all the best for when it finally happens!
I could have written this myself as I’ve been going through exactly the same thing and last night I thought something was finally going to progress but nothing. Sat on my ball again now with irregular tightenings so we’ll see. I’m 40+3 and haven’t heard from the consultant or induction team yet about booking in a plan of action even though I’m hoping she comes ASAP by herself! It’s very emotionally draining to have a lot of the physical symptoms without things progressing. Sending you a hug x
Same! It’s my second and I was induced at 39 weeks last time with zero labour signs beforehand. I’m struggling with the cramping/leg pain the most when she moves. I think she might be hitting a nerve or something but it’s incredibly painful, to the point I can’t walk or stand up. Between that and the tightenings every 20 mins or so, I’m ready for this to be over 🙈😭
I had false labour from 39+5 and finally went into labour at 41+2. Lost my plug multiple times and had stop and start contractions. I did all the tricks - walking, birthing ball, sex etc. Nothing worked. Eventually my contractions started, about an hour before I was booked in for an induction, and my waters broke 2 hours later
Totally understand how frustrating, will be 41 weeks tomorrow too and having quite a bit of tightenings each night. Also having a lot of cramping which is driving me insane cause it’s constant. Hopefully our little ones won’t make us wait too much longer x
