A few days ago I cleaned my belly button as it had popped during pregnancy, and since then it feels sore and red and maybe infected? I’m worried it’ll affect baby? Not sure what to do now to treat it? It’s just sore on the inside and little red ?

Shouldn’t have any effect on baby. I’d just make sure the area is clean and dry. If you’re concerned maybe try going to your local pharmacy as they’re good at advising on this type of thing and will be able to reassure you x
I had surgery around that area and have unfortunately gotten infections on and off since. If you pop to the pharmacy they can give you some cream if it is infected and it works really quickly.

I sometimes get this if I’ve not dried my belly button properly. I’d recommend making sure you clean it in the bath/shower with just water. Then make sure you dry it properly. Even if it’s using a cotton bud. It should clear up quickly and there shouldn’t be any effect on baby x
