It’s my due date…

So today is my due date and I have absolutely no signs what so ever, I went in for a sweep yesterday which failed as my midwife said my cervix is only just opening 0.5cm but is softening! I’ve had period crampings since and some brown in my discharge when I wipe which I’m guessing is just blood where he has had a rummage, this morning when I wiped the discharge was abit more stringy and still had some brown in it… so maybe something worked? Have been given a blend of lavender and clary sage by midwife and next sweep booked for Thursday if nothing happens by then! I know baby will come when she’s ready but anyone else feel bored of waiting?

Go for a walk, one foot on path one on road switch feet every so often. Or if u can't to this one foot on a chair and rock ur hip try opening the pelvis a little bit help baby drop more and put pressure on cervix.

It’s also my due date! Sweep yesterday too and no signs as of yet. Finding it challenging today as I’m ready to meet baby🤍 It’s very normal for sweeps to work for some people and not for others. Sounds like your mucus plug starting to come away which is a positive sign for you 🙂 Hope you’re feeling all good 🥰

Happy due date! I’m 40+6 and have had 2 unsuccessful sweeps and I’ve now refused any more - I’ve 0 signs she’s coming so I’m hoping something happens soon but I completely feel you with being ready for her to come! I get emotional daily knowing it’s not happened yet haha!
