I don’t think they offer an induction unless medically necessary (not sure what happens if you ask!) I had my first at 41+6 and was only offered the induction at 41+5 😂
My due date is Monday and they already told me that they'll book me an induction at 41+3 if nothing happens before.
Mine offer induction if the baby hasn't arrived by 40 weeks. I think each NHS trust is different. I went in with reduced movements at like 39 weeks and they were ready and willing to offer me an induction or a c section saying that baby is full term so they can get him out early if I want but I declined - this was with my first.
My trust offers induction from 10 days past due date so 41+3 xx
My trust offers induction from 41 weeks, I’ve got mine booked for 41+5 which is the latest mine will let me go without daily monitoring 😊
My doctor said she’d induce me at 39 weeks, but my daughter was born at 37+3.
Being induced tomorrow as I had reduced movements yesterday and they said they would rather get her out to be safe. Otherwise induction wouldn't be offered until 41+6 with my trust
My midwife said once I get to 40 weeks I can request an induction, but I’m not sure if every hospital is different
They'll probably offer you an induction before you ask tbh. How far past due date are you? Hope all goes smoothly for you.
