✴️Mental Health Edition✴️

What has helped your mental health journey? . . . I started my mental health journey a year ago, after many years without professional help. When I started my mental health journey I didn't know what that was going to look like, I was scared to be vulnerable and hesitant to reflect on my own shortcomings. Being a single mother to a 13-year-old boy has its challenges & in August the stork paid me a visit, he dropped off my second little bundle of joy. Their father has recently reentered the picture and we are doing our best at co-parenting, and he has been hands on but I do want to choke him half the time. 🥴 I couldn't have navigated life's twist and turns without therapy. Any and every chance I get I encourage people to seek therapy if they feel they need it. It makes a huge difference when you have someone that can hear you out and help you manage your behavior in a positive way. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ If your option is not listed please feel free to comment.

Both therapy and medication, I'm in early days of a new medication and pregnant my heads been in complete shambles even though I'm really happy about the pregnancy! It's hard but I'm finding my way xx

@Plant_Mom8.9 ♥️♥️♥️

@Emily congrats on your pregnancy! It's hard when you're pregnant because on top of being pregnant you're hormonal. I was such a cry baby during my first and second trimester. I was suffering from debilitating depression. I am in a much better place now thanks to the support therapy has provided me.♥️ It gets better!

Therapy helped and I will likely always be in therapy but finally finding the right medication cocktail for my BP1/ADHD was life changing.

@Sarah this is interesting. Sometimes we don't see the correlation between our mental health and our diet.

Medication helped me get stable enough so I could benefit from therapy
