This week with your sister, get her to teach him the stairs. Get her going up and down on her bum and he’ll soon learn it. We got our first house with stairs recently and my toddler learnt it in a day, just copying xx

I had to wait till 6 week check up to be cleared. But I’m a stay at home mom also and didn’t have any help really. I got a hernia and diastis recti doing to much after c section so please help careful. I know it’s easier said than done but you’ll need surgery to fix it.

Can your toddler sit on his butt and just bop down the stairs as you hold his hands and guide him? Thats how we have to do it with our toddler. She has no concept of danger and would walk right off the steps if we let her 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I have had two my first one I was 19 and able to recover so quickly I had my 2nd at 28 big toll on my body, took me around 4-5weeks too even feel good getting out of my very high bed, but after 6 weeks I was able to lift so it depends on your age, your health, how many cesarean have you had? And most importantly on how you feel.

Around 6 weeks to feel confident lifting my toddler without injuring myself. Trained him to use a step stool and lowered his crib into a toddler bed 2 months before new baby was born

Can you put most of the things you’ll need during the day on the first floor to make yourself comfortable? Ask your sister for help there.

Oh damn, I'm so sorry. I thankfully had my husbands help last time. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and I also have a toddler who's rambunctious and a double story house. I'm hoping my husband can stay home for the first few weeks bc I think you have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks with not driving or lifting more than 10 pounds. I know the recovery is longer. I wish you and baby the best of luck! Hoping your sister can watch your toddler so you and newborn can chill upstairs and rest.
