if you think your water broke you’re supposed to go in regardless of contractions or not
You should start getting ready to go to hospital. My water broke like you mentioned and within the hour pain starting to get more imtense, and closer. But some people dont feel it until the next day...call your doc, depending on how far you are they will make you go right away. Best of luck
I would go in! My water broke and I was having zero pain or contractions all day. Had my son later that night :)
You should go in! My water broke and I didn’t have any contractions or pain until 3 hours later .
Put a pad on, lay down for 20 mins, then get up and see if more leaks. My midwife said that your water will leak into the pad. But discharge will only sit on top of it. But you should definitely go in to get checked just in case
When my water broke with my daughter I wasn’t having any contractions and didn’t even know what happened. I went straight to the hospital and was already 7 dilated… good luck mama!
How far along are you ?
@Mayra yeah I should have. And I didn’t. I took my sweet time. And I definitely felt those contractions. Well, thank you for trying to let me know. Lol 🤣
39 weeks 6 days and yes gave birth 11/3 contractions started about an hour and a half later and when those contractions started there was no relaxing after that everything was fast but the pain almost unbearable. Wished I had hurried a little more but she’s healthy and I am now back home recovering ❤️🩹 Water broke 2am ish Contractions started around 4ish Epidural around 5am Baby arrived 9:20am
@Wendy McGuire congratulations!!
You probably sprung a leak 😂 it doesn’t always break like in the movies. A small hole can and will leak your waters (from experience ). I would call ob and get checked. I didn’t feel my contractions either until my water fully popped
