I know that feeling too that’s why I asked what it feels like when they go naturally.. as apparently it’s more of a trickle
Mine broke as I got out of bed at 2am, I questioned whether I’d wet myself because it did just come out without any control x
Mine trickled then when I stood up it was a gush
I think it depends on if both layers break at the same time or not with my first the outer layer broke and i was in the shower so I wasn’t even sure and after that I kinda thought I peed myself but then I just didn’t feel good but then in the hospital it broke the rest of the way and was a big gush right on my socks 😭
I just felt a pop and felt like I'd wet myself
Uncontrolled medium gush very slimy it brook 42 +3 then nth 2 days till they broke the rest of it ( sth infront of the head) then contraction starts
I woke up 1am and felt a pop and a slight gush like on a heavy period day, but not a huge amount of fluid came out. I went and stood in the bathroom and it was like a slow trickle but large volume- like I was really slowly wetting myself 😅 went back to bed and contractions started an hour later.
Mine went naturally with a gush and then carried on trickling for about 30 minutes
Mine was a big gush. Like in the movies
Mine was a massive gush, stood up off the sofa and it continued to pour out for a good 10 seconds, soaked through my clothes and puddle on the floor!
I just woke up in the middle of the night to the bed soaked, I thought I’d peed myself🤣 then after that it just kept coming out in bits
Mine went as I was getting out the car just arrived at the hospital in labour. I felt huge pressure and then they burst like a balloon actually felt like I was birthing my son. But he came out 32 minutes later 😅
Mine broke in the birthing pool as I was pushing with both my babies. Just felt like a big pop!
I had a bit of an intense pain & then about 10 minutes later my waters broke with a massive gush just like in the movies & kept on gushing for about a minute! Soaked through my trousers & left a huge puddle on my friends kitchen floor lol

When my water broke, it gushed a huge amount like you see in the movies. But I hear everyone is different!
Mine went while I was asleep and woke me up. I felt/heard a pop and a huge gush of water followed. I quickly ran to the bathroom and just stood in the bath leaking. Bed, pjs and patches of carpet soaked.
Involuntary and it’ll just keep trickling whenever stood up. No fragrance and a clear liquid that eventually became pinky.
I didn’t get a gush at all! Just a constant trickle x
Mine broke almost as soon as I got to the hospital and it was so much fluid, it kept coming out in almost like waves but I was lying down and later learned that part of the membrane was still in tact so every time I had a contraction it would be like I was peeing myself as the contractions pushed fluid out of me. They kept changing a pad underneath me and putting towels down for maybe an hour or two. It gushed over and over again ever contraction I had no idea how there was that much fluid in me because it just kept coming and coming.
Midwife broke mine. Like a huge water balloon popping
Definitely a big gush and it carried on for ageeeeeesssss . No stopping it 😂
First and second time felt like a balloon popping and a gush . Third time I questioned whether I’d wet myself, because there was no pop just fluid, only knew i hadn’t because it kept coming and I’d no control 😂
I got a sharp pain across my stomach then a pressure like feeling down below and when I stood up my waters gushed and they didn't stop for over 10 mins... everytime I tried to move more came out 😂
Mine was a big gush like a water balloon pop. Every time I moved more came out. Apparently it leaks until baby is born
With my first it was a pop and small gush. With my second it just sort of all streamed out
Mine wasn’t a gush at all just trickling all day had soaked through 2-3 pairs of underwear before I made it into the hospital and they confirmed it had broken…no pain or anything just had trickled for hours
It was a big gush for me! My water broke on its own at the hospital. The first waters were like a constant trickle running down my leg kind of like a leaky faucet. The second it sounded like someone dropped a giant water balloon off the roof! There was an audible popping sound and then all the water gushed everywhere. It was wild! The warmth felt so good and it was such a relief to not have the pressure anymore 🤣
Mine was a small gush to start with, and then when I got to the hospital I got out of the car and had a massive gush while clinging on to the car door 😂😂😂 and then I was constantly leaking till I gave birth 4 days later
Mine legit didn’t feel like a gush NOR a constant leak. It felt like I dribbled some pee out on accident, and randomly throughout the day it would feel like I’m randomly dribbling some pee out… my dr said the way to tell is by smell (does it smell like pee? No? Maybe it’s the water), and texture (if it’s sticky it’s likely discharge, if it isn’t it could be water).. after 2 hours of the first dribble I went to labor and delivery bc my dr said within 2 hours to get checked. Basically what was happening was my water broke up top my amniotic sac so it was a slow leak and had to go around the sides to find its way out:) hope this helps because I genuinely didn’t think my water broke haha

I felt a pop and then a huge gush
**TMI** Mine felt like that air bubble you get when us ladies sit in the bath when it goes between our skin in the downstairs area. If you get what I mean 😂 and then I felt a pop and then water to follow, it mainly came out when I stood up. Wasn’t a gush, mainly a heavy trickle which continued until I got to the hospital x
Everyone is different, some have the pop and a gush but others just trickle x
I was laying down fighting the urge to pee and then suddenly I was wet and told my bf i think I peed myself from holding too long so stood up and had a gush and panicked when I realized it wasn't pee. It continued to trickle out after for a few hours.
Mine didn’t break even after several hours in the birth room. Nurses had to make a kind of maneuver on my body to make them break. And then it was an enormous gush.
