Pregnant after c section

Hi everybody 😊 I had an emergency section 17 months ago, and I’m now 18 weeks pregnant with my second child. This time round, I’m noticing much more tenderness and pain in my lower abdomen around my scar. Lifting my toddler can become really painful on my muscles, even walking for a short period of time - I didn’t have these pains this early with my daughter as she was my first. I’m presuming it’s just linked to scar tissue/stretching, etc. I’m not concerned by it so not after reassurance as such,I just wondered if anybody had had it before and had any ideas of things that helped to ease it! Thanks!

I actually ended up getting pregnant 5 months postpartum and just had baby girl #3 October 20th repeat c section and when I did get pregnant I had a little bit of discomfort but a heating pad on low heat definitely helped.

I felt pregnant 9 months after and scar etc was a bit more tender I did get told to stop lifting my little one who just turned one at the time of finding out so I was like how do you expect me not to lift etc same with after baby was born midwives etc moaned at me for lifting toddler in and out of cot and said why can’t my partner do it but I was like well he works🤣🤣

Not pregnant but had a traumatic emergency C-section and still have extreme pain 1year later. Heat pack helps so much with the pain and even a hot shower helps.

Not pregnant again however I do still massage c section scar with bio oil and place plastic wrap on top along with a hand towel and heating pad.

I’m just under three months pregnant with a twelve month old so am experiencing this already too! I imagine it’s to be expected as the wound is still fairly fresh and being touched from the inside
