Nursery

Going forward, I'm going to ask what the staff turnover is. I went to sign my lo up to a nursery, then met some mums at a baby class who said they moved their lo from that nursery as the staff kept leaving so there were constantly new members of staff.The nursery also had loads of different managers in a small space of time. It may not be for you, but if the staff leave often, for me personally, that is red flag. I have found a nursery where most of the staff have worked there for 20 plus years.

@Harriet yes this ^^! Pretty much every one I toured said something along the lines of ‘oh well you know it’s normal, the industry, blah blah’ which was a red flag for me. We ended up choosing a fancy Montessori one where all the teachers have been there forever and every single one is a mum themself. It’s verrrrry pricey but well worth it imo
