To go or to not 39+6

Contractions every 4 minutes, can’t feel my legs or lower back and excruciating cramps in my abdomen. I Have known for the past hour that I should probably be making my way to the hospital, however, I can’t seem to get my partner up, he has worked 15 hours today and won’t get up , just had to put my own bags in the car. Do I go without him or do I force him up, for him to be in an awful mood the whole time? If these are fake contractions, he will be very unimpressed. Wish me luck!!

Would you be able to wake him up if you get to the hospital and need him to wake up? I’m sure he won’t wanna risk missing it! Xx

I’d say ring triage, then when THEY tell you to go (which they will), it’s not your responsibility if they aren’t ‘real’ contractions because you sought advice before going🤷‍♀️ x

Deffo, they always say just come in they don’t say much on the phone other than that. We only have one car at the moment so he wouldn’t be able to just join me, and to be honest the pain is so intense I don’t think I could drive xx
