I went to the gym 4 weeks later and did gentle exercise just to get moving again .. I’m now 12 weeks later and I’m doing core workouts and back to my usual workouts x
I think they recommended 6 weeks to me, I waited the 6 weeks and then started doing postnatal yoga/pilates sessions from YouTube for a few months before going to pilates classes.
* I did feel a bit of pulling and funny feelings under my scar with some movements during exercise, but I was just mindful not to over do it or to do other movements more instead and never had any problems :)
I got back to exercising after my 6 week review. I had a very straightforward non emergency section though with a smooth recovery and no issues. I started mummy and baby yoga classes which were full of section mums. At 8 weeks I got back into jogging but I was a bit runner in pregnancy and before hand.
