Junior ISA's

Hi I'm looking to set up an ISA for my little girl that she can access at 18. Does anyone have any experience with either One Family or Shepherds Friendly and which would be best. The terms look about the same for both of them as is the risk for investing. Any opinion would be appreciated, TIA

I have accounts for both my girls with shepherds Friendly. Haven't had any issues and the interest returned has been ok. I went through TopCashback when I opened them aswell and got an extra £30 x

I opened on Moneybox

I’ve never heard of these companies, what’s the difference between them and a bank?

@Beth how do you access how much is in the account? Do they have mobile banking eg? X

It's a tax free savings account you can set up for your child that they can't access until 18. The company invests it so value can go up and down. Friends and family can pay into it also 👍🏼

I set one up at Skipton for my son

I set up an ISA with my daughter through Halifax, I deposit £100 a month into it x

@Alexandra Leigh it's all online so when you open the account they will set you up. I can see both accounts plus my own savings account from the same page. Friends and family can pay into them too so my husband and mum pay in via standing order. It's been really easy to be fair x
