Wow
@Gabrielle not long is my guess. We are suing them. So.
Oh gotcha. How many kids was it that did it?
Sending you and your family lots of love & wishing your child a speedy full recovery. Thank you for speaking out and standing up for them and countless other trans people, from you I've learned about the rainbow youth project! I think you're doing everything right here and we're all rooting for justice for your kiddo 🫶🏻🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈

Ugh I read the article, that is honestly terrible. I’m sorry your child had to go through that. How are they doing now?
Those bog-standard "we take violence very seriously" letters always boil my blood. Schools very rarely care or do the right thing, at least in my experience. I hope your child is doing as well as they can in this situation and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you/your family/child get the outcome you deserve x
I am so sorry your family is experiencing this. The rage I would feel and even feel now for you. Those kids deserve everything that’s coming for them.
@Courtney not great! We have an appointment next week at children’s for them to be evaluated for a TBI
@Alex that letter was full of blatant lies too. They said they called the police when my child reported the attack. They in fact did NOT call the police until i insisted they call them multiple times after I got to the school.
@Cam the district and school too.
Omg how are they doing? I am so sorry that has to be scary for all of you! They need to be held accountable
@Jay not great honestly. They have an appointment at children’s next week to be evaluated for a TBI and they had to quit the play yesterday that they were SO excited about because they can’t remember their lines anymore.
Yea! Fuck them up!!! (Legally of course)

@SquishyMommy1 can you talk with these kids parents ?
@Jay we won’t know their names until they are charged and then we are suing the pants off them and the district.
Great job. Hope your child feels better from their injuries and I hope they see consequences for abusers. So sad they had to quit the play 😢
I saw your previous post and felt an absolute rush of energy seeing you post this!! YOU GO GET ‘EM MAMA!!! behind you all the way ✊🏽🤍
I’m a little confused on how it’s the school systems fault if it happened off school grounds? Is it different in Washington? In MD the school has no jurisdiction to discipline if it didn’t happen on school grounds or at a bus stop. I would be suing the families individually.
Omg I didn’t know it was your child. I’m so sorry. I hope they’re ok
@Daija a child can be reprimanded in school for doing something illegal off school grounds, especially if the illegal activity significantly disrupts the school environment or involves school-related activities, such as cyberbullying or threats against other students.
@Andrea maybe I’m ignorant to it but in my experience that’s not the case in MD. Something has to happen at school/on school grounds or they just involve the police to handle it. Ex. Cyberbullying was happening but until a parent showed the post was made during school hours the school said they couldn’t do anything
Also @SquishyMommy1 Im sorry this happened to your child and I’m glad it’s getting the attention it deserves
@Daija it is different in WA. The school is responsible for anything that happens during the school day AND my child went back to the school after it happened and the school did not call 911.
@Daija Im sure every school district is different but I worked for one of the public schools systems in northern va and this is definitely the case for them. Specially in cases of physical violence.
@SquishyMommy1 8 f**king kids??? Please moms do better with this up and coming generation. That's sick. Also obviously they had malicious intent and knew!! Screaming kill the tranny isn't enough?? I'm disgusted
@Melanie yes. 8. One of them filmed it and put it on Instagram also.
Yall are nice the way I'd beat they ass 🤣🤣🤣😂😭 idgaf these hands are rated E for everyone. The price is right. You touch my kids. I solemnly swear your ass is grass.
hoping for a speedy recovery for your child 🫶🏽 keep us posted on what happens

I hope your child is healing well❤️ Do you know the kids names who did it? Idk how I couldn’t attack those kids parents if it were me it must take you so much self restraint not to approach them. My daughter had a incident with a little boy who tried to choke her at recess and everytime I see that kids parents I just get angry all over again
Here’s the best article yet! The district is seriously shitting their pants https://www.cascadiadaily.com/2024/nov/05/police-investigating-alleged-hate-crime-of-transgender-teen/
How horrific. So sorry your child endured this. You did a great job advocating for them on this interview
I’m so sorry! What a heartbreaking thing for you, for the community, and everyone. I can’t imagine how traumatic this must be for your whole family. Do you guys have a go fund me? You should post one. Why was your child back in school so soon though? A traumatic brain injury is not something to be taken lightly. It’s not a minor issue and your child should be healing away from all the visual stimulation, the mental load, the emotional toll. Do all the research you can on TBI to inform yourself of the best path to take moving forward. Sending all the love from my family!
@Maria we do have a fundraiser going. They are back in school (by their choice we don’t care if they stay home) but with a limited schedule and no band anymore.
How long do you think it’ll take for them to come to some kind of decision about the kids that did this
