Completely normal to feel nervous but honestly everything will be absolutely fine and it will be all done before you know it! It’s super quick and calm, so exciting that you’re meeting your baby tomorrow 💕💕 xx
I had a section with my first and it was a very calm experience. I am having one again. Normal to feel nervous. Wishing you tye best
@Chloe mine was meant to be Thurs but they called yesterday and wanted to bring it forward a day 🫣🤣 I just keep thinking a lot of people have don’t this how bad can it be 🫣🤣 x
@Phoebe aww thank you needed to hear this 🩷 x
@Conchi thank you so much! I need the calm 🫣🤣 x
Had my second section 11 days ago. First was an emergency. This time was planned, absolutely amazing and I would do it again. Theatre staff were so chilled, played our favourite music on their Spotify and they were singing along whilst doing all the prep. Had the anaesthetist next to me the whole time to ask questions and also just for a general chat. Felt like it was all over so quickly especially as baby was on my chest whilst stitching up so didn't even care what they were doing at that point. Also hubby was able to be with me from the start.
@Claire aww this sounds amazing! I think I’m also worried about the after as heard mixed things about partners being able to stay with you overnight! Im just worried il feel overwhelmed by it all on my own! X
Yes exactly. I’m more scared about being a mother than the c section I think. But that’s just me! Good luck. I’ll be in your shoes this time tomorrow x
My hubby was allowed to stay until I was transferred to the ward at 1:30am. Usually it was 9pm though. The midwives told me as soon as baby wakes to buzz them and they would come change nappy and give him to me. Don't be afraid to buzz for help!
@Chloe aww yes I just worry in general about most things 🤣 aww thank you and you! We’ve got this xx
@Claire ahhh Okies it will be daunting I’m sure! This is what some people have said though that some partners stayed and others were not allowed! My partner is adamant he doesn’t want to leave us 🫣 hopefully it will just be the one night as they did say in pre op if I can wee and walk after 24 hours and baby all ok then can go home! Trying to stay optimistic 🤣 x
Mine is tomorrow too. We got this!!! Plus we get to walk like normal again!!!
Good luck for everyone with a c section today! I had mine yesterday and honestly, was such a relaxing experience! I was so so nervous (uncontrollably shaking) but everyone made me feel so at ease and it was done and dusted within an hour! I'd highly recommend an elective c section to anyone. I had mine in the morning (10:37am was the time my boy was delivered) and my catheter was out by 4pm and I was walking around. It's slightly more painful today so just make sure you keep up with your meds!! Good luck ❤️
@Vanessa hope it all goes well for you! Hahah yes very true!

@Natasha awww I needed to hear this just as I’m sitting in the waiting room 🤣🤣🫣 I’m glad you had a positive experience and lovely to hear you are recovering well!! Thank you and congratulations on your new arrival ❤️❤️ xx
Good luck! Honestly you'll be fine. I think the scariest part is the waiting around for it to happen, but soon your baby will be in your arms and it'll be a distant memory! ❤️❤️
@Natasha ahhh I’m sitting here trying to hold back the tears of like all the emotions 🤣🤣 it’s doesn’t feel real at all!!! X
Please share your update! All the best!!!!
@Natty she arrived at 13:04 and honestly was a great experience! Of course the recovery is a lil sore but all manageable! Would advise anyone having c section not to worry at all! Honestly the most painful bit was the canula 🤣 xx
Awe!!! I’m so glad to hear that! How wonderful!
Not sure this is loads of help, but mine is on Thursday and I feel the same! X
