I fell off the bed with my baby

I feel awful. Last night, as usual, I picked up my daughter to feed her, and I missed the back of the bed while sitting down. We fell and we both hit something—I bumped my head on the nightstand, and my daughter hit her crib. I ended up with a head bruise, and my daughter has red marks and a bump. I still can’t get over it. I feel so ashamed and stupid. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Don’t beat yourself up it was a accident. When my child was about 2 weeks old I tripped over and hit the deck while carrying him in his car seat. He was fine but I was horrified and mortified. You didn’t do it on purpose it was a accident x

I haven’t ever fell with my baby BUT my baby has fell off the bed before by changing her diaper I turn to grab wipes and she decided it’s the day to roll lol she ended up being okay after a trip to the pediatrician to ease my mind and make sure she was good. Now my fiancé aunt she fell when his cousin was a baby. She tripped on the concrete sidewalk. They were both okay but you know. The cousin is still alive and she’s funny lol. I promise it happens it’ll be alright ♥️

I honestly think every parent has atleast one accident!! Don’t beat yourself up babe you’re doing AMAZING and your bubba loves you and it was just an accident. You can’t help these things!! 🤍🫶🏽

Ughhh don’t be ashamed accidents happen I’m glad you both are okay! My baby fell off the bed 2 weeks ago, we all had the flu and I was extremely sick and exhausted, I placed her on the outside of bed when I dozed off and she fell. Luckily she wasn’t hurt but I was shooken up for 2 days. Some people say say is your baby even a baby if they don’t take a tumble 😅

My baby fell off the bed last week and hit the wooden floor, luckily she is okay, but I cried for two days 😭

I fell down the same stair in my parents house TWICE whilst carrying my daughter. Once around 4 months and again at about 7 months. Even though I was being extra careful the second time. First time her head hit the stair which is carpeted and not hard, and the second time she jolted back and I was worried I injured her spine. Both times I sobbed at being so careless. Both times she was totally fine. X
