I’m wondering this too, I’ve not had one peak but really would like to give birth before Christmas 😂
I've just been booked for my induction between 40+2 and 40+5 so long as you are managing to control your sugars well they won't induce before 40 weeks from what I've been told
@Chantelle I’ve got it all planned out in my head that I’ll have a new baby by Christmas 😂
Yes you can, I was told I was going to be induced at 38 weeks even with good readings, however my waters broke naturally 2 days before my induction date
@Hannah im the exact same 😂 ive convinced myself shes going to be here on the 15th December 😂 I’ve stupidly bought her Christmas outfit because im that confident haha
@Chantelle same! She’s got Christmas presents as well 😂
@Rea oh that’s great thank you!
I've had good readings and being diet controlled. Being induced at 39 weeks and 6 days if she doesn't come earlier
I had good readings and growth scans were really good. I didn’t want to be induced and they didn’t suggest anything until 40 weeks. I had two sweeps first, the first I delayed by a few days in hope for natural labour. I had my waters broken at 40+6 and then drip and LO was born at 41 weeks. Just prepare yourself for what the induction involves and your pain relief options etc x
I think it depends on if you end up on medication, I went on metformin in both pregnancies and was offered induction at 39 weeks x
Currently have an induction booked for tomorrow at exactly 38 weeks. I asked and they agreed as my readings were good and diet controlled.
Was told at my appointment today that induction would be discussed at my 36 week appointment, to booked at 38 weeks
Think it depends, I didn’t get put on medication and was told I could go full term. I didn’t as I wanted a section and that was booked for 39+1. She weighed 7lb1 when she was born xx
