Irregular contractions gone? Should I be concerned

I've been having irregular contractions for about 4 days I'd say and my midwife told me I was in slow labour. Now I'm pretty sure I lost my plug again yesterday, it happened to be last month and grew back. But the night before that I had about 3 contractions each 3 hours apart then everything has stopped. Completely. Not one. Its so wierd. I'm getting cramping but it's nothing like what was going on, I'm kinda worried

Yeh it’s stop/start labour or slow labour it’s annoying 🙄 lasted about 3 days for me last time then it kicked off for real, can be longer than that though I’ve heard people have it for a week or two ! Xx

@Phoebe you are kidding! A couple weeks!?😭 I hope not these past 4 days have been rough. How long did it take between it stopping and active labour kicking in for you?

I've been having regular contractions every 10 mins ish for maybe 3/4 hours a day then they just stop. For about 4 days now. Had an appointment yesterday and midwife said slow labour too. She told me to ring if they get closer together and start to last longer.

Second baby - I’ve been in slow labour since 36 weeks! I’m now 38 weeks and honestly just done with the on/off contractions. Mine last for a full hour then nothing. I’ve also lost my mucous plug twice now. Just want my baby here 😩

Like @Kaylee I’ve been in slow labour and having start-stop contractions about 10 mins apart for 4 days now. I’m currently 41+4 so it’s very confusing haha

@Kristen I'm only 38+4 so hoping it doesn't drag itself out too much longer. Feel like I'll be in active labour and not realise 😅 my hospital is an hour away so I just can't get the idea of baby arriving in the car out of my head 😂

Sounds like early labour. I had the same for 3 days. It was so annoying. Then I lost my mucus plug in the morning and when into proper labour that night. Problem was... I didn't act quickly because I though it would stop again. I was 7cm dilated by the time I got to hospital and delivered an hour after arriving there. So if you get any changes to the early labour at all then call triage xxx

@zainab an hour? so long! I've had irregular contractions since 31 weeks but they picked up the weekend before Halloween! I wish baby would make his way out😭

@Lucy alright! Did you experience more prominent cramping after you lost your plug?

@Kaylee that’s literally what I said to my partner today.. like I don’t trust myself now 🙈 we’re about 45 mins away and it’s my second, so she could slip out at this rate haha

I’ve also been in stop start labour for a week tomorrow 😣 39+2
