Any midsize women with tummy fat BEFORE pregnancy. When did you feel your baby move? Experience "the flutters"

I am 4"11 and info says I might feel baby movement earlier cause there's less room for the baby... but I also have always had belly fat... and so I'm conscious whether don't feel movement because of that. Instead of googling... would rather hear from mom's who had belly fat BEFORE and ask when they felt movement? I also have a posterior placenta so am hoping it'll come soon...

I’m 5’9” and had (still have) belly fat and a bit of loose skin from losing a heap of weight… felt the flutters around 19/20 weeks.

Completely depends on the person, and i think not just about fat/height, everyone's body is different. I was size 12-14 before pregnancy and felt kicks from 16 weeks

honestly i didn’t feel anything til some time after 20 weeks, i don’t remember when. i’m 5’4 had a little tummy fat…but my placenta is also anterior

I'm also the same height as you, I had a little tummy fat before pregnancy and my placenta is posterior too. I felt slight pulses around 20/21 weeks which started to become more prominent. I'm now 25 weeks and cant mistake the movement/kicks when they happen. My midwife said not to worry aslong as you feel something every day from 24 weeks onwards. I think everyones normal is different. Try not to worry xx

i felt lb move at 16 weeks ish but didn’t actually see any movement until 22 weeks x

Honestly I didn’t feel anything before 20ish weeks. I was so self conscious because I only looked pregnant if I ate a big meal and I was full, and I chose not to take maternity pics because I already had a lot of tummy fat and I felt that you couldn’t tell I was pregnant. And I felt baby a lot towards the end, but I never had those kicks that people would describe as they kick so hard you lose your breath

I’m 5’7 and 180. I carry a lot of my weight in my stomach, I felt both my boys first flutters around 14 weeks.
