Intimacy after C-section

when did everyone have sex for the first time after their c section? I’m 5 weeks post partum and girls lemme say, we didn’t have sex for a couple months towards the end of pregnancy as I was so uncomfortable and my fiance felt a bit awkward as he knew the baby was there etc, and I’m DYING! We’ve had a couple nights this week where we’ve had proper make out sessions like we’re teenagers and I have given him oral etc as it’s something I obviously enjoy anyway as he’s my partner, but I am as desperate as a whore right now😭🤣🤣 I’m not in any pain and my scar has healed lovely but obviously I know they say to wait at least 6 weeks? Would 1 week really hurt?🫣🥲

I went for it at 2 weeks after my c-section, don’t go to heavy and go with what your comfortable with, and of course wrap up with a rubber, go get that D girl 💅🏻

@🍂🎃sunflower oh yeah, listen i do not want a second child anymore 🤣 my birth was so traumatic and the c section was emergency, im traumatised for life🤣🤣

I waited 3 & 4 weeks after my 1st & 2nd c section x

@Ashley do they say to wait based on how dilated you were? Cause I had started pushing but my body gave up so needed the emergency c sec🫣 x

The reason they say to wait is because of the risk of infection from the open wound inside your body xx

Trust I don’t want a second child either, I had a traumatic pregnancy 😅 the partner keeps hoping and trying to convince me but it’s like chill and appreciate the daughter I baked for the past 9 months, she’s still fresh 🤣 just over 6 weeks

@Rebecca is it when you stop bleeding you can resume activities too? Or do you have it wait until any discharge has stopped also? Xxx

You can do any external stimulation whenever really, but actual penetration you're supposed to wait the full 6 weeks so the wound heals up, so the bleeding part doesn't affect it because people bleed for different lengths of time xx
