CAREER CHANGE NURSE

Pls help. I am a nurse by background but I’m so sick of it I’m burnt out and lost passion for it entirely. Like I literally can’t anymore. What careers would accept a nurse out there? They all require some sort of business-ish experience… I’ve been rejected from everything and I guess an emergency nurse isn’t an ideal candidate for a customer service/ business role. Anyone know what else I can look into please? Thank you xx

Following as in the same boat. Are you still full-time?

I’m bank and I do every Sunday and a random night in the week to keep the roof over my head lol but even that’s too much I feel as if I just don’t want to do it anymore at all! :/

Health visitor?

I'm doing 34.5 hours a week. I can't take a pay drop, that's my problem.

I'm a RN. I work in education at the moment as a trainer/assessor for healthcare. Basically, I get a caseload of apprentice healthcare assistants on the ward and get them through their apprenticeships. I do condensed hours to fit my childcare needs and I work from home unless I am observing apprentices on the wards. I do 37 hours over 4 days a week and get paid more than I did as a Band 5 (basic wage, not including unsociables) I keep my PIN and can revalidate because I need my nursing skills and knowledge to do my job. One day I'll go back into nursing when my little boy is older, but for now this works for me. I work for a college, so keep an eye on your local college websites for similar jobs. I found mine on indeed.com. I've been here for 4 and a half years now and I do like my job! x
