When is everyone driving again?

Me personally I'm waiting for 6 weeks, they say you should only drive if you feel comfortable doing an emergency stop, but also if you were in an accident and the airbag went off it could cause serious harm to your healing wound so I'd just make sure you're comfortable getting behind the wheel again

I was the exactttt same as you, but I got back in the car around 5 weeks - I went to the GP early just to have a little look to make sure my incision had healed and he gave me the go ahead to bath (as I was also told 6 weeks) so I started driving too xx

I started driving as soon as it wasn’t painful to go over speed bumps!

I was about 3 weeks with my first, currently 2 weeks post with my second and plan end of next week - will call insurer to get them to 'approve' but I could easily do an emergency break now.

10 days but I haven’t taken anything stronger than paracetamol. I feel like I could have easily driven home from the hospital but I didn’t 🙈 speed bumps have never bothered me and I just seem to have recovered really quickly so I guess everyone is different.
