Natural ways to induce labour

I've had my induction date for thr 27th November however I've had a previous c section which I know comes with additional risks plus who wants extra pain?! So I want to try and induce labour naturally if possible. Any ideas? Obviously won't start until I'm 37 weeks😅

So FTM so not sure if any of these actually work BUT on my list I have. Sex, long walks, raspberry leaf tea - then from 37 weeks 6 dates a day, expressing milk & bouncing on a yoga ball

Hi do your research about induction and necessary reasons for doing it, not everything that hospital says it’s up to date with research. Some inductions are actually the best option for mum and baby but some others are just not ❤️

I ate half a pineapple and sniffed a bottle of clary sage on my due date 😂 My waters broke at 11:30pm and she was born the next day! Worth a try!

@Mari thank you! I've definitely done some research, they mentioned it at the start as a possibility due to my health issues but baby is now also measuring small, so could possibly be the best solution. I do want to avoid an induction but then a c section is also looking more likely and that's haaard with a clingy toddler 😂 xxx

@Yolande good ideas thank you!

@Lauren ooh wow really!😂 I've been craving pineapple lately too ill definitely give that a go!

@Chloe apparently it’s the core of the pineapple that’s the bit that’s supposed to set things off. But I just ate the whole lot 😂 if you decide to get clary sage be careful with it as it can set premature mummas off! I was told not to take it into hospital - good luck!
