My baby also turned at the last min, (at 37 weeks) after being transverse the whole pregnancy! 😅
I'm currently in this situation. Had midwife appt at 38+1 and baby is transverse, I've been admitted until he either goes head down for 2 days consecutively or have a C section at 39 weeks. It's so hard being away from my toddler but I was strongly advised that I had to be admitted x
@Phoebe wow so you stayed in hospital just sitting around for 2 weeks!? They have said he’s big so they don’t think he’ll turn on his own so it’s defo the c section route but I just don’t fancy taking up a bed for that long!
@Joanne it’s crazy isn’t it? I didn’t think there would be enough beds to just give them to people to wait around in. Hope you’re ok, how has it been in there?
@Kati to be honest, when I've looked at the risks off not being admitted, I can understand why I need to be here. It's been OK, I'm not in any pain so just walking around and have visitors etc. Hardest bit is being away from my daughter
@Joanne this is very true, defo better to be in there and safe, just didn’t know it was even a thing! Best of luck with everything 😘
@Kati thanks, you too 😊
There was quite a few of us in this situation about a week ago! They kept me from 37 weeks for a c section at 39 weeks, baby didn’t turn but I saw a couple did and they were induced I think! X
