Sex after c-section
I am 5 weeks post c-section, me and my partner have had a conversation about having penetrative sex. I’m not quite ready yet which he is respecting.
I am feeling quite anxious about it, I’m not really sure why, I think I’m worried about my scar externally and internally.
I do want to do it and my partner isn’t pushing anything.
My recovery has gone well, no issues, bleeding stopped around 3 weeks, my scar is healing nicely.
Any advice/personal experience to share would be very appreciated

I was about 5 weeks and admittedly was nervous but the moment happened and we were really gentle. It didn’t actually hurt at all.
I didn’t until I was 11 weeks as I had a lot of complications n didn’t heal well but if you want to and your healing well go for it girl 💜 slow and steady wins the race if you follow don’t rush! X
I was 4 weeks and same as you really nervous but it was absolutely fine. I think it’s recommended to wait till 6 weeks but you do you xx
I was also around 4weeks pp when we had sex, only thing I suggest is to be on top or in a position where he’s not gonna be rubbing against/hitting your scar, it could get a bit irritated from that but otherwise everything was good

I had sex 6 weeks pp. it was fine. Didn’t feel exactly the same as it used to as I think I’m still a bit numb but it was still good and didn’t hurt. We used lube just for comfort which I think that helped xx
